HomeLAN - Why did the development team decide to go back and make a multiplayer add-on?

Mike Zubik - Even since the development of original Homeplanet it was evident that this game needs multiplayer desperately. The very special Homeplanet gameplay, which is not typical for most spacesims, is the main reason of add-on and, particularly, multiplayer mode. It is really more interesting to have alive rivals. After the game release, a lot of gamers asked us to make the multiplayer. That's why we had no other ideas - the multiplayer mode has to be developed!
