Valve sent out a some details on Half-Life 2: Episode Two, as well as the official announcement of the news that TeamFortress 2 will be the multiplayer component in the next installment in the episodic expansion and more on Portal:
Episode Two advances the 16-million unit selling franchise, as Valve's trilogy of episodic single player releases continues the award-winning story of Half-Life 2. Armed with new weaponry and vehicles, Dr. Gordon Freeman must race through a countryside riddled with an increasingly fierce Combine threat.

Team Fortress 2, an all-new version of the title that spawned team based multiplayer action games, features the most advanced graphics of any Source-based game released to date. Players choose from a range of unique character classes such as medic, spy, sniper, or engineer and must work together to complete a variety of tactical objectives.

Portal is a new type of single player game that changes how players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment in a manner similar to how the Gravity Gun changed our approach to how an object may be leveraged in any given situation.

Team Fortress 2 and Portal will be included with all retail and Steam versions of Episode Two for the PC. In addition, these products plus Half-Life 2 and Episode One will be available in one tremendous

Thanks Valve for ruining PC gaming for me. I hate ur episodic games, I hate Steam, and u ruined Team Fortress 2. Thanks a lot.

Valve is a joke as is HL2. They try to show there engine can do stuff, but if these guys had any creativity they would/could have done a lot more with HL2. Valve only did what a 'easy' community would accept. Look at the trash that is HL2.. Who plays HL2? Nobody. Who plays CS and DOD (really non Valve games).. everyone. This same 'easy' community is so out to lunch that they play HL2 based games despite 10000+ cheaters who have downloaded and likely are using the aimbot+wallhack. lmfao..HL2 is pathetic. I got that Episode 1, free and as I thought it was a piece of garbage, like I really give a shit what Alyx wants to say.. God..Loved those re-hashed maps...Oh finished it in less than 3 hours! Wohoa!! But at least they start advertising Episode 2... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!

ruined ? why ?
there's, for once, an original design, a departure from the traditional so-called photorealistic soldier/marines

alright, it says nothing about the quality of the gameplay, but i don't see why that gallery of characters is "ruinning" TF2

So Yanhick, thats not what I wanted, I wanted the photorealistic soldiers as we had it before! Valve could have warned us and shown us that this is how TF2 would have turned out, not just drop the bomb all of a sudden.

Come on, those characters look lame. Looks like a damn construction worker. Gimme a break. This is one bad attempt at trying to be original, that's all I can say man.. If this junk turns you on, so be it. Doesn't turn me on or provoke any interest here. To me it's, So what?

CaptStar(08:49 PM CEST - Jul,17 2006 )
See, xxxx has a point. The characters look really lame, this is not what I wanted nor expected. I didnt want Team Fortress 1.5 redone in a dumb cartooney look, I wanted military soldiers like Team Fortress 2 originally
