Valve has released a new high quality Counter-Strike: Source movie trailer (Bink format) that was presented at last May's E3 show. The movie demonstrates an attack and counter-attack scene in a bit under two minutes of gameplay footage to illustrate how Counter-Strike looks after porting to the Source engine. The 93MB movie can be found on 3DGamers, WP, FilePlanet, GH, FileShack, CSNation.

No matter what graphics engine they used, it's still counter-strike so it STILL SUCKS.
i bet they used an ATI card too which doesn't help.

I think you need to look at the online gaming stats a little closer. CS made HL what it is today. HL is the game that still has originality in it's mods unlike other games I know.. cough cough, UT2k4. I've since gone back to HL. It's consistant, has a lot of good mods and though the graphics are not the best in the world, it's a solid game with a pretty good community.[/code]

They play counter-strike because they can't play other games. Have you ever met a counter-strike player good at painkiller or serious Sam or any other online fps not including mods for half life of course? They simply can't be as 'leet' (1337) as they are in counter-strike world therefore they can't and won't try any other games. They found some online friends who they get to shoot with, they found a community that accepts them for being loud mouthed pricks who can't hold their temper when they suddenly get shot while camping, strafing, shooting, or any other form of virtual physical activity you might possibly think of within Counter-strike. Well, Counter-strike is here to stay, that's the bad news. The good news is that counter-strike community consists of only immature bastards therefore any other online first person shooter game doesn't come with an annoying brat yelling at you because he was team killed, shot on purpose or any other counter-strike related bull crap you can and will find on each and every server. Counter-strike sucks, but it holds retards in place :D My two cents for my first post. On the other hand there are is a small, miniscule, number of counter-strike players that tend to be good outside their virtually addictive world of counter strike, but as I said that number is very small, very, very, very small. Ta-dah! Rambling is fun kids. So is alcohol! Drink all you want cause alcohol poisoning is for the weak!
