Blues News is reporting that there are plans for a Hidden & Dangerous 2 expansion pack called Sabre Squadron. Here is the fact sheet that was included in the Gathering's E3 brochure:

Hidden & Dangerous 2: Sabre Squadron
Developer: Illusion Softworks / Genre: First/third-person squad-based tactical shooter / Platform: PC / Ship date: Fall 2004

Formed in 1940 to cause havoc and mayhem behind enemy lines, the British Special Air Service soon became some of the most feared troops on the battlefield. Now you can join the ranks of the SAS and command a squad of these highly trained, lethal soldiers. Sneak past enemy lines, infiltrate heavily guarded bases and outposts, and utilize superior tactics to eliminate the opposition.

Hidden & Dangerous 2: Sabre Squadron is an expansion module to Hidden & Dangerous 2, which was released on PC in October of 2003.

* Play through nine new single-player missions.
* Three new multiplayer missions.
* New weapons including: the German Panzerschreck (bazooka), SAS flare gun, the French MAS MLE 36 (used by the Resistance), Parabellum with silencer, and the German G43 rifle.
* Improved AI - enemies and squad members will react realistically to different situations; they will run for cover, set up ambushes and do what they can to preserve their lives.

H&D2 is a fantastic game with better, imo, control over AI team mates than Raven Shield. That said, i wish that Dev's would stop milking the hell out of the consumer and just produce full games/follow ons instead of what should all honesty be a FREE download -9 SP missions 3 new MP and a few tweaks, for what? half the price of a FULL game...come on guys get HIDDEN & DANGEROUS 3 out!!

If they provided co-op multiplayer on the SP missions, this would turn the game into a top ten killer!!! All i'd need are friends to play co-op with! (Reggie prefers her PS1, and Jake is...blind.) ROFL

@stumpus, that's not how it works anymore. And your comments are insignificant. For everyone like you there is 10 other people that will go and get it. Wait till HL2 comes out. But hey! you don't have to go to the store to get it! Nah, a simple transaction online and you got it.

Maybe Tom but my comments are *hardly* insignificant..may be to you,since your indicates you still got a chip on the shoulder.. but if you don't open your wallet then the companies will soon get the message,likewise idiots that pirate it will destroy it's sales also. So i would hardly call a small expansion a big seller, when there aint a lot of people willing to pay HALF the price of a full game. Regarding STEAM: downloading HL-2, that's if you want the **MP ONLY version of HL-2!** If you want SP, then it's to the shop or buy online you go. It doesn't change anything, other than *another* way of milking the crap out the consumer. It's nothing NEW, Enigam: Rising Tide and many other games either sell the MP client for download or give it away free with a monthly payable fee to play it. Whether it's a success time will tell, but as in most internet only, monthly payable games. The answer is *NO* The clientle quickly tales off after a few months (the honeymoon period) 10 years ago there were all the rumours of 'internet only MP games for download only' and we would see the decline of shops selling games in genral in the high street. well did it happen? erm no. Look at games like WW2online and even the XBox and it's Live! None of those have made any impact over commercial sold games. The PS2 *doesn't* need a subscription to play online -other than your ISP. Sell a FULL game retail and if it's good both in value for SP and a bonus in MP, then it will sell buckets. But not just on the bases of MP only.

Ya your comments are insignificant stumpus. You can say all you want, nothing will change. Just to help you with the word: Insignificant : Of little importance or influence or power; of minor status; "a minor, insignificant bureaucrat"; "peanut politicians". I wasn't putting you down just merely pointing out, yes, you are right and doesn't matter because you can't change anything. As for pirating, it will NEVER disappear and nothing has changed that and nothing will change that. For HL2 the box contains the barebones and single player, the rest is downloaded off the net and the other additional stuff is direct off your visa/mc.
