Hellpoint day-1 patch fixes FPS drops - patch

tinyBuild has just released Cradle Games’ sci-fi Dark Souls-inspired action RPG, Hellpoint on the PC. Moreover, the publisher has revealed the changelog for the game’s day-1 update that is currently available. According to the release notes, the day-1 update for Hellpoint improves overall performance, and makes it more stable during the Horde event with lots of spawning enemies. It also fixes a number of FPS drops in many locations. Additionally, it addresses some crashes and freezes.

Online functionality fixes
Made combat more fluid for the client by reverting the control of some events back to the client, instead of waiting for the host to process them
Improved input processing: previously input may fail because of possible state differences, now we force a state change, so the attacks would always be synchronized.
Performance fixes
Performance during the Horde event with lots of spawning enemies is now stable
FPS drops in many locations have been fixed
Some crashes and freezes have been addressed
Gameplay Bugs
Fixed Nemundis boss being idle and not attacking the player sometimes
Fixed the True Ending boss

I'm sick of hearing and having day-0 or day-1 patches.
Proves you brought a beta version as they are too cheap to pay beta testers to test out their software before release

It was better 20 years ago when you got a good working FULL version of a game as they did beta test back then.
Now they get free beta testing by releasing a beta version to the public and wait for everyone to post on their forums the problems and bugs so they can fix them. See, you paid to be a beta tester.
Better to wait 6 months, get it at half price and finished with the actual final patches. But you will still have to buy their beta version and download the finished patch.

STOP buying games on day 0. THATS the only way to force game devs to listen to us and actually hire real beta testers so they release a finished product and not let us be free beta testers.
Everyone hates getting a game and finding bugs all throughout it. So DONT buy it for at least a week, a month will be even better. The loss of sales will force them to finish the product and you will be a lot happier playing with a few less bugs and not feel like you were scammed into being a free beta tester which you actually paid to be instead of getting paid to be.
