Blizzard Entertainment today announced its latest Warcraft title, Hearthstone: Heroes Of Warcraft, a free-to-play strategy card game. This title is being developed by a small team of Blizzard, and contrary to other card games, this one features 3D - yet simple - graphics. The beauty of the game, Blizzard said, is that players don't need any previous understanding of strategy card games or Warcraft - the game teaches users as they play. At launch, 300 cards will be available, with five to a pack. Prices have not been determined yet, but each pack will likely cost about a dollar. Those unwilling to shell out cash for cards can earn them by playing in the freemium model, but should expect slower progress. Hearthstone: Heroes Of Warcraft's beta will launch this Summer, and the game is planned for a 2013 release on PC, Mac and iPad.
