HomeLAN - The demo of the game has become a very popular download for gamers. Did you think the game would become this popular? Gwenael Bego - I'm not quite sure what I was really expecting from the game. We had a lot of positive feedback from our entourage before the release who all thought that it was great that we had managed to finish a full game given that we were but poor meger french students :) So we were pretty confident at first, even though we were well aware that the game wasn't as polished as the newer gaming titles. The testing and demo feedback was a bit of a shocker for us because a lot of people thought that we were a professional gaming company and that this was our full time activity. We got a lot of insults and such by people who didn't enjoy the game but it was a nice way of learning that it takes a heck of a lot to please your everyday hardcore gamer. It was a good reality check to have I think. It turns out that a whole lot of people have downloaded the demo and we got a huge amount of hits on our site which is nice. I'm happy just with that alone, if we managed to get some people to know who we are and what we're doing. Personnally this is the first game I have worked on so I really had no clue what to expect in terms of how many people would end up playing it. The number of demo downloads was a nice reward.
