HomeLAN chats with Digital Reality's Laszlo Peller as he talks about their upcoming 3D space strategy game Haegemonia: Legions of Iron. Here is a snip:
HomeLAN: You state in your press release that the game has more battles than micromanaging the empire. Is it safe to say that the game is more like Homeworld than Imperium Galactica?
Laszlo Peller: The success of Homeworld had a strong influence on any developer - no question about that. However while the 3D world were the key issue for HW, Haegemonia has lots of extra features, which were almost completely missing from that game, and that we have experimented with in Imperium Galactica II, like research and spying for example. In these features we are building upon our success with IG2. Lets say, we are between the two somewhere- but we create our own special game with some special features. [more]
