Guild Wars E3 Public Test Launched - briefly

A bit earlier then expected, the promised E3 demo of Guild Wars went live last evening. The test will give you a chance to sample ArenaNet's upcoming multiplayer oriented fantay action-RPG for a few days before its release later this year. The test gives you a tiny client download file which you then proceed to use to download the rest of the game. The demo is scheduled to run through May 15. (thanks GameSpot)

Since the game is still months from release, the demo limits players to a portion of the game available in the closed alpha test. As specified in one of the demo's loading screens, characters are limited to level 15, the number of quests and missions is limited, some professions lack a full range of abilities, and guild and trading features are not yet implemented.
