GTA Online has raked in over $5 billion in cumulative revenue from Shark Cards and GTA+ subscriptions since its 2014 launch, according to fresh data shared from a recent Rockstar leak.

Yearly figures peaked at nearly $744 million in 2020 during COVID lockdowns, before settling around $400 million annually in recent years, with 2026 already at over $109 million so far.These microtransaction earnings alone have more than covered the massive development budgets for both Red Dead Redemption 2 and the upcoming GTA VI.Recent weekly revenue hovers around $9.5 million, driven largely by console players despite rising cost-of-living pressures.
