The core gameplay is still the same tactical strategy that we've seen in past with a few differences that we were shown in person today. One of these is the ability to command units individually. If you didn't know, Ground Control put units in groups automatically that could not be separated. This is good for a couple of reasons. You can now split infantry up and stick one of them in a stationary turret (oh yes, there are stationary weapons now) or move a couple of them into a better vantage point in a building (yes you can occupy city structures now), and you can group your units a little more intelligently for more balanced attacks.
