Heroes of Might and Magic 2 is a turn-based strategy game, bundled with the Price Of Loyalty expansion to form the Gold Edition pack. Compared to its predecessor, HoMM 2 gave the player better hero development opportunities, unit upgrades, a reworked magic system and two new hero alignments. The story builds upon that of the prequel - upon Lord Morglin Ironfist's death, his two sons fight for his throne - it's up to you to decide which one stays there... All in all, this second installment truly defined the HoMM series and gave it the momentum it needed to become what it is today - one of the most famous computer game titles of all time.
