Goertek Will Start Producing PSVR 2 Devices in China Soon - briefly

According to a Chinese analyst known as 黑毛警长008 on social media and reported by Brad Lynch, a well-known hardware analyst, the Goertek company in China will begin the mass production of PSVR 2 soon.

Goertek, Chinese manufacturer, will be in charge of mass producing Meta Cambria and PS VR 2 (soon!)

Goertek sold off Pico to Bytedance earlier this year, but signed a deal to continue producing Pico headsets

Also expected to supply components for Apple AR/VR HMD

If PlayStation VR 2 enters mass production, it would probably be impossible for Sony to stop the leaks from the new device, which means we should expect the official announcement of this new piece of technology from Sony even sooner. Currently, Sony has not revealed any VR-focused first-party titles for 2022, and many players assume that Gran Turismo 7 could be a great launch title for PSVR 2.
