Coffee Stain Studios has announced that Goat Simulator will be getting an update in May to add a few more features. Among the plans for mid-May are another map around the size of the original map, local split-screen, more playable goats, and achievements. The update might fix crash-bugs too, but as the studio has made very clear in its release notes, any other bug is being intentionally left in for maximum hilarity.

The developer also says the planned patch update will be entirely free because "we'd feel bad charging for DLC when you can just download stuff for free at the workshop."

Online multiplayer is unlikely to ever appear in Goat Simulator, as the developers say they're unable to synchronise the bizarre physics across multiple, connected PCs. However, that doesn't prevent local co-op.
