Neverwinter Vault
has posted a
final report
of the Neverwinter Nights demos at GenCon 2001, include some screenshots taken during the presentations. If you want more photos, check
Gameplexus.com
gallery.
"The first demo was Thursday morning at 11 AM. Again, the build was much like the one shown at this year's E3. However, watching it first hand was very enjoyable. More detail was given, as well as a question and answer session at the end of every demonstration. Aidan was the MC, and was very patient and informative about the game. Most of the questions asked by the audience have been asked many times before, but were all handled well by the BioWare team. One aspect of Neverwinter Nights that has not been discussed much is a local LAN setup. Using what I believe will be TCP/IP, one can network multiple computers to a network and run NWN with no problems. Having played network games with my friends at LAN parties, NWN has huge potential for this setting. Talking in person about the goings on in a multiplayer game is a huge draw for me, as I am sure it is for others as well. NWN could turn out to be a big hit at LAN get-togethers."

Nevermind dudes, there's the same situation like it was with Quake3 - nobody could play then with more than 50 fps. In a year Intel will release its Pentium 5's processor with at least 4 Ghz and ATI will give a birth to its Radeon 10000 or so :) Then we'll see who's more powerful id Software or technical progress LOL
