- Obsidian Entertainment to develop Wheel of Time
RPG - The company that owns the video game and
movie rights to Robert Jordan's epic fantasy series Wheel of Time, Red
Eagle Games, has just announced a partnership with Obsidian
Entertainment with the intent of producing a series of RPGs
for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms based on the Wheel of
Time series.
- Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
Dev. diary - As seen in this developer video, the general
gameplay will have significant changes with increased emphasis on
player choice during the course of the single player campaign. Players
will able to switch classes during a fight and even change allegiances
from GDI to Nod as the story progresses, unlocking different branches
on the tech tree. Command and Conquer 4 - Tiberium Twilight is due out
for PC on March 16.
- Interplay Prepping New Descent, Earthworm Jim,
Dark Alliance, and MDK Titles - Brought to light through an
SEC filing, Microprose managing director Frederic Chesnais has
acquired, at some point in time, nearly 10% of Interplay shares. While
this in itself is nothing spectacular Interplay investor Frymuchan revealed that said shares are part
of an agreement to fund 4 of Interplay's games through Microprose,
Descent, Earthworm Jim, Dark Alliance, and MDK.

planets - Star Wars: The Old Republic official web
site now offers some info and screenshots of Taris, the
latest planet to get its own spotlight for the BioWare developed title.

- Wings of Prey Patch 1.0.2.8 - The patch adds Polish language
support, fixes engine sounds in multiplayer third-person view, fixes
default replay view, add new Custom Difficulty settings, adds
Push-to-talk in multiplayer, and returns third-person view to
single-player play.
- Fallen Earth 10-Day Free Trial Client - This
client installs the post-apocalyptic online first-person
shooter / role-playing game hybrid, Fallen Earth and allows you to play
for free for 10 days
- C&C3: The Forgotten Update - C&C3
mod The Forgotten is now accepting applications for access to their beta. The mod team also released
four new images showing off the
MCV/Conyard and one new piece of promo art that was created by Kane Nash
- BattleForge Lost Souls Edition Ships - Players
will now have access to legendary units and monumental
buildings from the ranks of former enemies Lost Souls and the Twilight
factions, with an additional 120 cards available through 'Lost Souls
