DLSS at launch - MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries releases in a few days
and Piranha Games has announced that its title won't support Ray Tracing or DLSS at launch. The
team is currently working with NVIDIA in order to optimize these
effects, and will add them to the game via a post-launch update.

has unveiled a new trailer showing the new physics system of
its Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 3. Moreover, the
team revealed that the game will release on February 4th, 2020, on the
PC.
- Tropico 6 Gets Free and Paid DLC - New content is available for Tropico 6, as
publisher Kalypso Media and
developer Limbic Entertainment now offer The
Llama of Wall Street
premium DLC pack on Steam as well as a free Seguridad Social update
for
the dictator simulation. The free release includes a new building, a
new sandbox map, and more, while the paid DLC offers the chance to get
in touch with your inner Llama DiCaprio to become a stock marker mogul.
- Battlefield V Wake Island Next Week - Next week will also
see the launch of the Wake Island map remake in Battlefield V. A new
Wake Island Overview Trailer shows off this free update coming to
the military shooter on December 12th. The clip eschews the horrors of
war with some
Pulp Fiction-style action and discusses the history of the map, which
debuted for Battlefield 1942 a mere 17 years ago. A post
on the Battlefield Blog has more details, including this overview
of gameplay.
- Marvel's Avengers is Getting a Prequel Tie-In Novel in March
2020 -
Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics plan on releasing Marvel's Avengers
next Spring and, in typical Marvel fashion, a multimedia movement is
being made out of it. Today, Titan Books revealed to IGN
that it is collaborating with Marvel Entertainment, Square Enix,
Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal and author Greg Keyes to create tie-in
books for Marvel's Avengers. The first of these, Marvel's Avengers: The
Extinction Key, is poised to arrive on March 31, 2020, less than two
months before the game's launch. Marvel's Avengers will release for
Google Stadia, PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 19, 2020 and can be
pre-ordered on Amazon. Meanwhile, Marvel's Avengers: The Extinction Key
will hit store shelves on March 31, 2020.
- Cyborg Mechanic Announced - Become a cyborg surgeon
mechanic in a shady and absurd cyberpunk underworld. Repair burnt-out
circuits, modify limbs, perform complex surgeries, and craft better
equipment for your clientele. Remember that augmenting an organic body
with mechanical parts is risky and can result in augmentation rejection
or even death. To top it all off, most of your clients are disreputable
individuals with an extensive criminal record. This fact makes your
business suspicious to the authorities, who won't stop bothering you
and asking you questions. Make your one-person operation thrive and
increase its popularity to keep a steady flow of customers and cash.
But beware of the police putting you on their radar. The more
recognizable you are, the more they'll breathe down your neck. Stay
vigilant and don't let them lock you up. Decide whether to turn your
clients over to the police or keep your mouth shut. You have to keep
your dodgy business up and running somehow, right? The game's Steam
Listing is now online, showing this is expected for release in
2021, and a gruesome trailer
offers a first look at gameplay.
- Roadwarden Announced - Publisher Assemble Entertainment
and developer Moral Anxiety Studio announce
Roadwarden, an RPG coming next year to Windows, Linux, and macOS via Steam.
This is an unusual mash-up, as they call this "an illustrated
text-based RPG," that combines a text-based RPG with a visual novel
- Railjack gameplay shows "the most co-op intensive version of
Warframe" - The Warframe Empyrean release date is still set for a
vague point in
the future, but today's developer stream saw Digital Extremes
showcase
the biggest part of the massive update: Railjack. Some things have
changed since the last time we saw Railjack in action, so now's the
time to break down everything you can expect – especially since you're
probably already building your ship after Rising Tide.
- GTA Online Casino Heist Coming Dec 12 - The Diamond Casino Heist is an all-new approach to
Heist architecture and execution: one huge gameplay-packed
operation as you work with the Cheng family to infiltrate the most
secure building in all of Los Santos. Featuring a diverse range of
opportunities for set-up and prep missions that shape your plan of
attack, multiple paths of approach, constantly changing security
measures and a dizzying array of choices once inside. Expect outcomes
for you and your crew to change on the fly as you deal with each new
situation, leading to more choices mid-mission. Even if the best laid
plans go sideways, you'll have the opportunity to keep the mission
afloat without failing by shooting your way out with your remaining
team lives, all allowing the Heist to be highly replayable with new
scenarios unfolding each time. In order to plan the biggest Heist ever
perpetrated in Los Santos, Heist crew leaders will setup an unexpected
new commercial venture as a front, a retro Arcade business property
shrouding the nerve center within where Heist operations are staged and
rehearsed. While the business runs above, down below you can practice
hacking keypads or cracking vault doors, store equipment and getaway
vehicles, and owners of existing businesses can add a Master Control
Terminal to handle all current operations.
- Resident Evil 3 Remake Won't be Appearing at The Game Awards,
Says Geoff Keighley - In
a new AMA (ask me anything) on Reddit,
Keighley blatantly said that Resident Evil 3 will not be making an
appearance during The Game Awards. "There are no plans (never were) to
do anything with Resident Evil 3 at the show. A lot of these ‘leaks’
are completely wrong," Keighley stated. "Nothing about our show has
leaked as of this writing." Keighley's statement here seems to imply
that the Resident Evil 3 leaks that happened earlier this week are
actually "wrong" and that the game isn't happening after all. That
said, he could be referring to other rumors and leaks that have come
about in recent days/weeks as well. This time of year, there are always
countless rumors spinning about what could be appearing at The Game
Awards and it's good to hear that whatever Keighley and his team have
up their sleeve in terms of announcements haven't been divulged just
yet.
- The Last PlayStation State of Play of 2019 Takes Place Next
Week - Sony has announced the next, and the last State of Play
live stream to take place this year. It was announced by Sid Shuman on PlayStation Blog. The
stream will be available to watch on numerous live-streaming services.
PlayStation's State of Play will air next week on Tuesday, December 10
and will start at 6am PT/9am ET. The blog post explains that we can
expect to see "around 20 minutes" of new game reveals, release date
announcements, gameplay footage, as well as PlayStation Worldwide
Studios updates and more.
- Humble Monthly is officially dead – here's how the first
Humble Choice bundle works - Each month, Humble will give you a
selection of ten or more games to choose from, and you'll keep the

the basic subscription tier, you'll pay $14.99 per month or $134.99
per year for your choice of three games each round. At the premium

subscriber before the rollover, you'll get to choose ten games each
month at your existing subscription price – but if you cancel, you'll
have to choose from one of the new subscription tiers instead.
This month offers exactly ten games to choose from: Shadow of the Tomb
Raider, Blasphemous, Ancestors Legacy, Phantom Doctrine, Dead In
Vinland, Horizon Chase Turbo, Dark Future: Blood Red States, Desert
Child, Aegis Defenders, and X-Morph Defense.
