Starcraft 2 announced in 2007? - IGN had an interview with Blizzard Chief Operating Officer Paul Sams at the Games Convention in Leipzig and one of the more interesting things coming out of that is the possibility of a Starcraft 2 announcement next year.
IGN says PS3 aces 360 in Virtua Tennis - As IGN was checking out the new Virtua Tennis 3 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at Leipzig, they made note of the "slight" differences between the two versions saying that the PS3 edged out the 360 when it came to graphical dominance. Plainly put, the PS3 looked a little better with sharper textures and incredibly detailed player models. It was almost eerie when we noticed the veins sticking out in our character's forehead. To be fair, however, IGN does say that the different versions are being worked on by two different companies -- which could account for the slight differences. Geometry Wars Developer To Release Three New XBLA Games - It seems Bizzare UK, the developer of the hugely successful Geometry Wars for XBLA, is going to be converting three popular German board games for use on the Arcade. Settlers of Catan, Caracassonne and Alahambra are all slated for the conversion process.
Xbox 360 Core System Price Drop In Europe - Microsoft has decided on a slight price drop for their Xbox 360 Core console system. Originally set at 209.99 euros, the system is now priced at 199.99 euros effective today. The price for the main Xbox 360 system (the one with the included hard drive) remains at 279.99 euros in Europe.

In a bold prediction, he stated: "In 2010 the desktop computer will be dead, and laptops will be on death row."
