  • Aliens vs. Predator Banned in Australia - It appears as though another game has been refused classification in the land down under. Sega's upcoming shooter, Aliens vs. Predator, joins the ranks of Left 4 Dead 2, CrimeCraft, and others that have been refused classification in Australia due to the violence levels depicted in the game. Rebellion has made a brief statement regarding AvP's status in countries which have refused classification of the game; saying they will not be producing an edited version Aliens vs Predator to appease classification boards who ban the game.
  • Mass Effect 2 to be on 2 Disks - A post on Bioware's Community forums confirming that Mass Effect 2 for both Xbox 360 and PC will be on 2 disks (3 for the Collector's Edition).
  • Borderlands Patch Nears - Gearbox Software tweets about the PC release of 'the first DLC for Borderlands, as well as another upcoming patch: "DLC is on its way for PC (wish I had a date for you) and we have another update on the way as well with several fixes :)'
  • Golden Globe Nominated Composer for The Saboteur - Pandemic Studios has picked up a Golden Globe nominated composer, Christopher Young, to score the theme to The Saboteur. The Saboteur will be available in North America on December 8 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms. Saboteur review scores are between 60-80%, with accompanying comments ranging from fun to plain average - any Euros pick this up today? Have any first impressions to share?
  • Use a Glitch in MW2 on the 360 and Be Suspended from Live - There's a glitch that's started to make the rounds amongst the Modern Warfare 2 crowd across all platforms. The glitch consists of using the game's Javelin missle to take out infantry units, perhaps you've seen a YouTube video or two of the glitch in action. While Infinity Ward states that they're working on a fix and will push the update to Microsoft and Sony as soon as possible, that doesn't mean you're free to use the glitch until then. Stephen Toulouse, Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox Live, stated the following via his Twitter: 'While IW works on getting the MW2 glitch fixed, people we catch using it will recieve suspensions from LIVE. Play fair everyone. :>'
  • Alien Breed Evolution Details (Xbox 360) - 18 years after Team17's smash Amiga hit "Alien Breed" comes Alien Breed Evoloution. Developed on Unreal technology ABE features hours of single and multiplayer gameplay on a number of difficulty modes to challenge the hardened veteran. ABE will be coming to the XBLA on on Wednesday, December 16th for 800 Microsoft points. In addition, Rock, Paper, Shotgun has an interview about the game with Team 17 design manager John Dennis that covers the project's history, and takes a futile stab at pinning down a release date for the PC edition.
