The development team recently launched a new limited time mode that helps celebrate one of the biggest cinema releases ever. However, Thanos in Fortnite appears to have been a little too Titan-like and has seen a few nerfs deployed to make the Titan a bit more manageable.Epic Games have now confirmed some of the changed that have been made to the Infinity Gauntlet mode, which is now live to play on PS4, Xbox One and PC.The development team have decided to dial back the stats that have been making Thanos a bit of a tank in the popular Battle Royale mode. While one player can still find the gauntlet and cause some serious mischief, they will no longer have the same stats. Epic Games have now confirmed that they have tweaked the shields and max health of Thanos, which should make it a little more challenging. The new Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup changes include:
- Shield cap decreased from 300 to 200.
- Max Health increased from 700 to 800.
- Laser damage vs. players decreased from 15 to 12.
As many who have played the mode will already know, it can be a mad dash to track down the Gauntlet before other players in the game find it first. It comes down in a comet and comes with the caveat that the person who wields can still be eliminated. If this happens, it opens the Gauntlet back up to use but comes with the same rules as before. Epic Games released a lot of new information how to use the mad Titan so that everyone could be ready to wield the gauntlet. Mashup Details- Early in the match, a meteor will land in the storm safe zone, delivering the Infinity Gauntlet.
- Any player who uses the Infinity Gauntlet will transform into Thanos.
- If Thanos is eliminated, the Gauntlet will fall to the ground, free for the taking. If it sits unused for too long, it will disappear until another meteor appears.
- Last player standing will be the victor!
