If you haven't played Plants vs Zombies yet, you really have no excuse now. Head over to Popcap.com website and play the flash version. It is free, it's pretty cool, and it's a pretty faithful remake of the full version. The Flash version of Plants vs. Zombies includes:

* 3 available game modes (Adventure, Endless Survival, Vasebreaker)
* 14 levels of Adventure mode
* A zombie not found in the PC version!
* 6 zombie types and 12 plants with which to stop them
* Graphics and gameplay faithful to the PC version
* Unlike most of our web based games, PvZ streams in the music of the PC version as you play
* Enhanced performance features of Flash 10

full version is much better.. they did as good a job on the flash version as I suppose they could given the shitty effort Adobe have put towards improving Flash player... which sucks, about all its good for is fucking ads and videos, real shit for games or anything where a bit of hardware gfx acceleration would come in handy.

its a great game... I just didn't think the flash version did it justice, but I suppose it wasn't meant to :) the full version windowed mode at 800x600 for a bit of background play had gotten me really addicted for a while. Now I'm hoping to see if they are working on any expansions as it surely is a gem.

Simply head on over to Newgrounds to play through the original series, before all of the lights went out. You will need to use Adobe Flash Player 10 in order to play the game. Flash Starcraft - Its not exactly the same, but pretty good. Also only 7 megs so great to put on a flash drive. Sure to take a few minutes of your day and never give them back (521 hits)
