Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles
for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC
(Steam). It will launch on September 30. Worldwide, the game will be available
physically for PlayStation 5 and Switch. In Japan, it will be available
physicSquare Enix has announced Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice
Chronicles for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4,
Switch, and PCally for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and
Switch—however the Switch 2 version is a code-in-a-box and not an
actual game card (or game-key card).
Players who pre-order will receive the following bonuses:
- White Equipment for Ramza
- Weapon: Mythril Knife
- Accessory: Spiked Boots (Increase a unit’s Jump attribute while
equipped)
- Consumable items: High Potion x10
- Consumable items: Ether x10
Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will receive the following
bonuses, including a valuable accessory that increases the speed at
which characters can learn abilities:
- Weapon: Akademy Blade
(Raises a unit’s speed attribute slightly while equipped)
- Headwear: Akademy Beret (Prevents the Charmed status while
equipped)
- Combat Garb: Akademy Tunic (Grants Shell while equipped)
- Accessory: Ring of Aptitude (Boosts JP earned while equipped)
- Consumable Items: Phoenix Down x10
- Black Equipment for Ramza
- Red Equipment for Ramza
Square Enix Store will also sell a Collector’s
Edition of the game for $249.99, which includes a copy of the game, a
special art box, a Ramza Beoulve figure (Akademy Version), the
“Outlying Church” pop-up art, a set of “Zodiac Stones” acrylic magnets,
a set of Chocobo mini plushies, and a set of art sheets.
