Gigex has posted a playable demo of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, Surreal's action adventure game based on the novel, instead of the movie like the games from EA. The demo weighs 123MB and is available for download from Gigex and ShackNews, Tiscali Games.

This game is a big pile of sh*t, 8hrs to complete the full game the ai of the following characters are so bad... they cant keep up with u they sometimes get stuck and they can never die! Cheap ass game based with the lotr name for a sell.

Haven't played nor am I interested. 99% of games based off of any novel/movie license turns to utter crap. Come to think of it, I can't even think of one game that was decent off any license. Thanks for the heads up though.

This game pretty much sux all the time you play it...in fact the only good thing about it was the option to exit to windows. Owyeah: I hate Germans.

Yeah, this game was really dissapointing. The graphics, sound, ai, and gameplay were all really below what they should have been. It was a waste of my time even looking at the demo.
