Far Cry 5 and Sea of Thieves in glorious 8K - movie

DudeRandom84 has shared two videos, showing Far Cry 5 and Sea of Thieves running in glorious 8K resolution. In Far Cry 5, DudeRandom84 used the gameâ€™s Ultra preset whereas in Sea of Thieves he used some custom settings (a mix of Mythical and Common settings). DudeRandom84 used two NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080Ti in Far Cry 5 and as we can see, Ubisoftâ€™s game was able to run with 30fps. Itâ€™s pretty clear that 8K will not be mainstream anytime soon. On the other hand, Sea of Thieves ran with 20-27fps on a single GTX1080Ti in 8K.

Clearly shows how Far Cry 5 does not give a shit about your resolution. Those far trees (and in general, most objects) look just as crap as the close ones.

Well.. 8K is coming.. we just need new GPUs to power that reality which is inbound very soon.

It can come all it wants, I don't give a rats ass. I don't need 8K the same way I don't need 4K. And at the cost of video cards today.. not many else will either.

And this game has graphical settings issues.. If you saw the Low vs Ultra you would notice there is very little different. Just another poorly optimised game like 99% of all the other console-to-pc games.
