Remember the Fallout 3 fan remake in Fallout 4, Capital Wasteland? Well, even though this remake looked amazing and had a lot of potential, its development team decided to cease its development. The main reason behind this cancellation was the legal issues that could surfaced by using the voice-acting from Fallout 3. If you guys haven't already heard the unfortunate news The Capital Wasteland Project (Fallout 3 in Fallout 4) is stopping development, here is their official statement. (Video on the topic coming shortly)

And it did not occur to them:
- get permission to use assets
- use own voice (go around it as a whole)
- require owning the game and provide a patch that extracts the voice required (no need to share voice clips you don't own)
- finish it without voice (still better than nothing) and modders could provide clips later over a site like Nexus.

Demonstrates well how corporate greed kills innovation.

Saw this coming, no not Csimbi and his whining but saw this remake falling on it's ass. Only a n00b goes using a companies assets without asking. How many times does shit like this have to happen before people clue in.
