The debut release of FAKK2 Capture the Flag is out!
"People are always asking me if I know when CTF will be finished. Well, in all likelihood it wont. The mod hasn't been worked on by any of us for months now (since around February). There didn't seem much point in working on a multiplayer mod for a game that doesn’t support multiplayer (at least not properly). So we'd just been waiting for Ritual to sort out the MP in FAKK2. But it looks like they wont be doing anything about it, and we probably wont be doing anything to CTF either. So we're releasing it in the current state, along with source code, for anyone that wants to try it out. The network code is a bit flaky, but better than before thanks to the updated exe. There's only a few maps (one of which is almost complete), most of the sounds, models, skins and menus were only supposed to be temporary so they're a bit on the pants side and the mod has its fair share of bugs. But it's still fun, so it can't hurt to try it out :)" [download 41MB]
