eVGA.com let us know they have released the latest driver version 56.56 (direct FTP link) to the public. These drivers are Microsoft WHQL certified for Windows 2000 and Windows XP. They contain a significant number of updates:

i dont know why nVidia bothers with new drivers because really, they've had them right first time round.

51.69 I agree. Can't say enough how nice it is to be back with nvidia. I haven't touched my drivers since I got rid of my 9700 and everything runs so f'n well! Might try the 56.x just to see if I can squeeze anymore fps but I'm in now way in shortage. I'm interested in the C&C issues they say. On my 9700 that game lagged like a sob and to be honest, I don't recall there being a problem at all with my nvidia.
