Shawn Lord and Alan Crosby - This expansion also includes the new task system. This is our first attempt to create a system that caters to players who only have 30 - 90 minutes to play and haven't found a group or prefer to play solo for a little while. Adding a completely new way to play the game is a challenge at this point, but we've been really happy with the feedback we've received so far. At ship, we will have task givers in place in each of the starting cities and other areas around Norrath for levels 5-65 at this point. That's yet another feature: this expansion will also allow players to progress from 65 to 70. Of course that means we've had to look at every system that deals with character levels and make changes and improvements. This includes new spells, items, and Alternate Advancement abilities.
