- NHL 08 Patch v1.08 - Sports has released
new patches for NHL 08 to upgrade the US and EU retail and downloadable
editions of the 3D ice hockey sports sequel by EA Canada to version 1.08. As
before,
this patch addresses a multiplayer desync problem.

is a 3D Score Brawler, in which you have to score as many points as
possible. You get points for a kill, for scaring some kid or collecting some
bonus object.
- Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Soulstorm Announced - The Games
for Windows 11 October Issue preview on

has a look at the coming issue of the print magazine that includes a blurb
revealing Soulstorm, a third expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War,
relic's Warhammer RTS game. It appears that the next expansion will feature
the Dark Eldar.

be arriving at North American retailers this week.

Stranglehold is
now appearing in North American stores.
- Warmonger Coming On October 16 - NetDevil announces that
Warmonger,
Operation: Downtown Destruction will be released on October 16, though
they are not actually declaring the Unreal Engine 3 shooter with extensive
AGEIA PhysX support gold
- Sins Of A Solar Empire Beta 3 Begins Thursday - Stardock
Entertainment and Ironclad Games announced today that the upcoming
Beta 3 of Sins
of a Solar Empire, which begins on September 20th, will introduce
multiplayer functionality and a host of other new features to the RT4X
space-strategy game.
- Microsoft Rejected Halo 3 Lingerie Deal -
This story reveals that Microsoft has had to reject
some....interesting....marketing tie-in proposals for the Bungie developed
Xbox 360 shooter.
- Simpsons Game Pre-Order Details - GameStop, Wal-Mart, Target and
Best Buy stores will each have one of four special posters for people who
pre-order the game beginning on Wednesday (each poster is themed around one
of the games that are parodied in the title such as Medal of Homer and
Neverquest). Each poster will also have an exclusive cheat code to unlock
new content in the game when it is released. Also a limited number of
pre-orders will receive the Homerball action figure which depicts Homer in
his special in-game power version (very large and rotund version of Homer
which in the game has special abilities).
