- Zuma's Revenge Demos - Playable
demos (manual download) for the newly
released Zuma's Revenge are now available for both the PC and the Mac
editions of the action/arcade sequel.
- APB Gameplay Video - The clip
commemorates the showing of APB (aka All Points Bulletin) at GamesCom
2009 and offers the first look at gameplay footage of the Unreal Engine
3-powered game, which is being played by Epic's Mark Rein, who
co-narrates the clip with Realtime Worlds' Chris Collins.

- Need for Speed SHIFT Ships - Electronic
Arts announces Need for Speed SHIFT is today
racing into North American stores for multiple platforms, with the
European release of the high-octane motorsports sequel planned for this
Thursday.[
- Red Faction: Guerrilla PC Ships - THQ
sent out a press release announcing the
Games for Windows - LIVE edition of Red Faction: Guerrilla is now
available, offering PC gamers the same science fiction action set in
destructible environments as the already-released console versions of
Volition's third-person shooter.
- Resident Evil 5 PC Ships - Capcom just
announced via blog post that the
Windows edition of Resident
Evil 5 is now available in North and South America and parts
of Asia (the game's release in Europe is later this week).
- Star Wars Galaxies Server Closures - The
Star Wars Galaxies Forums announce that 12 servers are being shut down for
SOE's Star Wars MMORPG, which represent just under half of the game's
25 servers. Sony Online Entertainment tells everyone to get
off by October 15th at 5:00 PM PT or they will lose their character,
for forever.
- EA SPORTS NHL 10 in Stores Now -
Electronic Arts announced today that EA SPORTS NHL
10 is available in stores today world-wide for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
- Dragon Age: The Calling Announced - Before
fantasy role-playing game Dragon Age: Origins hits stores, another prequel novel is going to
be released. Dragon Age: The Calling, penned by DA:O lead writer David
Gaider, will hit stores on October 13th.
- Microsoft Creating 802.11n Adapter for Xbox 360 -
If you want to stream 1080p TV shows and movies from the Zune/video
store this fall, your 360 needs to be hard wired to your
router, or on an 802.11n network. Knowing this, Microsoft is
readying an official 802.11n adapter.
