- Blazing Angels: Secret Missions Announced - Ubisoft announces
Blazing Angels: Secret Missions, the upcoming sequel to Blazing Angels:
Squadrons of WWII. The aerial combat sequel exploring the ever-popular world
of experimental weapons in the works at the end of World War II will be
released for PC and Xbox 360 this spring.
- GRAW 2 Dev Diary #1 - Ubisoft has released
the first developer diary for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.
- HoMM5 & Hammer of Fate Patches v1.41 - Ubi Soft has released
the first patch
for Heroes of Might & Magic V: Hammers of Fate, bringing the recent
fantasy 3D turn-based strategy expansion pack by Nival Interactive to
version 2.1. The patch for the original game deals with changes to the
game's statistic system, while the Hammers of Fate patch takes stability,
interface, gameplay and map editor improvements among other things.
- Rainbow Six Vegas Patch v1.04 - Ubi Soft has issued
a new patch for Rainbow Six Vegas, upgrading this squad-based
tactical shooter sequel by their Montreal studio to version 1.04. This new
patch adds translation improvements, fixes looping sound issues in
multiplayer maps, and addresses a few other multiplayer problems.
- Rush for Berlin patch v1.23 - Deep Silver has released
a new 100MB patch for Rush for Berlin, bringing this alternate history
3D real-time World War II strategy game by Stormregion to version 1.23.
- Darkfall Online movie - There is a new
movie trailer
for Darkfall Online to reveal more of the 3D medieval fantasy MMORPG
under construction at RazorWax and Adventurine
- Vanguard: Saga of Heroes launch movie -
This
extremely high-resolution movie (40MB) outlines the game's premise and
features in a minute and a half of mostly in-engine footage. In other news,
SOE and Sigil Games announced today that
Vanguard: Saga of
Heroes is now live, and ready to play.
- Battlestations: Midway ships - Eidos announced that
Battlestations:
Midway (PC/Xbox 360) ships to North American stores today.
- Sony Begins 65nm CELL CPU Production For PS3 - According to
ITMEdia, SCE has
begun to produce the upgraded 65nm CELL CPU. All PS3 units so far have
had the 90nm CELL, but this will change soon. This also means Sony will
profit more per PS3 unit because the 65nm CELL CPU is cheaper.
- MS Reveals Next 10 XBL Arcade Games - MS has revealed the next
10 upcoming XBLA titles, and there are some hot ones folks. Castlevania:
SOTN, Worms, Paperboy, Alien Hominid HD and more are on the way.
