- PC Games Are Making A Comeback - Sales generated by PC
games are poised to overtake those for video game consoles, a
monumental shift that is many years in the making, according to data
from industry researcher PwC. By the end of 2016, PC game sales are
expected to reach $29 billion around the world, compared with $28
billion in sales for the console market.

- XCOM 2 will feature full mod support - "We're going all-out with modding on XCOM 2,"
declared Creative Director Jake Solomon. One of his and Lead Producer
Garth DeAngelis' chief regrets about XCOM: Enemy Unknown is its lack of
significant mod support, and it's a missed opportunity they don't
intend to repeat. And so they laid out their plans: Either day-and-date
with XCOM 2's November launch or soon thereafter, Firaxis intends to
release a full suite of modding tools – an Unreal Development Kit (UDK)
and the editor the developers use to create content - that will enable
modders to run wild with XCOM 2. 'It's yours now; do with it what you
want."

testing with a new engine (presumably Source 2, though those Unity guys
are persistent)
- Dishonored 2 leaked by Bethesda livestream - According to
a number of sources, most notably YouTuber Matty Schroeder
on Twitter, Bethesda left its Twitch running while staff were
discussing tomorrow’s conference, and let slip that Dishonored 2 would
be part of the presentations.
- Unreal Engine 4 'A Boy and His Kite' Tech Demo Now Available

Epic Games has just released its latest tech demo for Unreal Engine 4,
A Boy and
His Kite. Epic has released all the content and the cinematic
of this latest tech demo, along with a standalone .exe through which
you can launch the project. Epic Games recommends a GTX 980 for
this new tech demo, while a GTX 680 is listed as a minimum GPU
requirement.
