- Earth Analog Announced - Funcraft Games announces Earth
Analog, a spaceflight simulator expected next year
on
Steam. Word is: "In Earth Analog you take control of the space
vessel Eurisko XI in its quest through deep space. Its goal: find our
new home."
This
post says they are seeing testers for a gameplay prototype, but
it's from a couple of weeks ago, so it's not clear if this offer still
stands. They also warn "that the game requires a top of the line
graphics card due to its raytracing tech," which is shown off in this
Teaser Trailer.

- Halo Co-Creator Left Bungie Due In Part To The Life-Altering
Crunch - One of the reasons why Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto left Bungie was because of the extended periods of
crunch
that negatively impacted his life. Speaking during a roundtable
interview for his new game, Disintegration, Lehto said his new studio,
V1 Interactive, is taking a stance against crunch and trying to do
right by its employees for their health and happiness.
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Error Fix - A new error has
surfaced in Call of Duty Modern Warfare, following the
release of a brand new update. The error message seems to be appearing
for several different players, although it appears to mostly occur on
PC – and sometimes PS4 and Xbox One. After attempting to download
Modern Warfare Update 1.13, players have reported the following error
message: "Your data is corrupt and didn’t download properly. You must
reset your rank and unlocks to continue." Now Infinity Ward announced the solution to this problems with
the
new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare patch. Word this is this should be
solved thanks to a new backend fix. They are also working on a fix for
those users who did not ignore the error prompt as they eventually
suggested. Word is that though your stats were reset, your progression
is intact.
- Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Patch Adds Currency, Quests, &
Free Map - A new patch is now available
on
Steam for Warhammer: Vermintide 2, updating it to version 2.1.0 and
kicking off Season 2. This also adds new free content to the Windows
edition of the Warhammer action game, including Old Haunts, the first
out of three maps to be released from the return of Drachenfels from
the original Vermintide. "Drachenfels brings back memories, but the
memories are not matching what we bring the players now," says Fatshark
CEO Martin Wahlund. "The Drachenfels of 2020 is harder than ever, with
meaner enemies, and tougher challenges."
This

that they are adding new in-game currency that can be earned through
daily and weekly quests, along with some premium cosmetic items to
support the release of free game gameplay content.
- Ghost Recon Wildlands Title Update 21 - Ubisoft has
released a massive new update for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands. Title Update 21 is 21GB in size,
adds new content, fixes a number of bugs and crashes, as well as other
minor world issues like invisible walls or collisions.Going into more
details, this patch adds weapons and tools to the Mercenary mode. It
also adds a loot log to the Mercenary mode. Moreover, it adds an
adaptive system that would allow the game to start a Mercenary match
without the maximum number of players.
- Dying Light Update 1.23 - Techland has released a new update for the first Dying Light game.
According to the release notes, this patch will update your game’s
version to 1.23. Moreover, it adds performance and stability
improvements, and improves framerate drop issues.
- Steam Lunar New Year Sale - The Lunar New
Year 2020 Sale on Steam celebrates the impending Year of the Rat
with savings on thousands of games between now and January 27th. In
addition to bargains, there are also gifts to be had in the form of
daily giveaways of Year of the Rat tokens, which can be redeemed for
seasonal items in the
Lunar Night
Market.
- Resident Evil 3 Remake will be using the Denuvo - Capcom
has revealed, via the game's Steam store page, that
Resident Evil 3 Remake will be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. It's
worth noting that Resident Evil 2 Remake also used Denuvo at launch.
Then, almost a year later, Capcom removed this controversial
anti-tamper tech from the game.
