The latest Epic Games Store development update is live. I've already posted about Self-Refunds (yesterday). They unveiled their full Refund Policy, which includes self-service refunds within two weeks of purchasing a game played for under two hours. They also unveil keyless redemption deals with Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, and Genba Digital and new bandwidth management options. Finally, looking ahead, they unveil plans for a mods marketplace and an achievements system. All games are eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason. However, you must not have played more than 2 hours.

You will not be eligible for games from which you have been banned or for which you have otherwise violated the terms of service. In addition, you may not be eligible for refunds if Epic determines that you are abusing the refund policy.

Of course they add this crap. - No more competition (control and monopoly on sales - in cartels). - They can gather far more information about you if they track your activities on multiple sites. Did you know MS and Google bought GIF companies so they can inject JavaScript into your virtual keyboard to scan what you type on your mobile phone? This world is going to shit.

Couldn't give a shit. I play games, i don't have bank details on my PC or phone, i just want a deal end of. Good luck with Google and MS, i have none on my mobile phone other than apple. Neither do i do anti-social media or anything else narcissistic. They'd die of boredom waiting for anything from me.

Epic, Origin, Steam, Ubi -you either play games on them or go read books! Not much choice. Thank piracy for the world we're in and consumerism.
