Epic Games Store has officially integrated into GOG Galaxy 2.0 - briefly

The idea behind GOG Galaxy 2.0 is simple. Smash down the walls between PC game store and create a launcher which can integrate all PC gaming storefronts into one centralized location. Today, GOG has announced that it has teamed up with Epic Games to deliver "official integration" for the Epic Games Store. Through this partnership, GOG and Epic Games are allowing GOG Galaxy to work more seamlessly and reliably with Epic Games Store titles, which is great news for those who want one launcher to rule them all.

Simply put, GOG Galaxy Epic Games Store integration connects the two platforms together and allows you to launch Epic Games Store games directly from the GOG Galaxy. Here’s how you do it:

Click the ‘Settings’ gear in GOG Galaxy.
Head over to ‘Add Games & Friends’.
Select: ‘Connect Platforms’.
Press the ‘Connect’ button next to Epic Games Store, and then enter your EGS login credentials.
Once you’re done, your GOG Galaxy Epic Games Store integration should be complete!

Until today, Xbox Live had been the only service to officially integrate with Galaxy. Now Epic Games has become the first PC gaming platform to offer official GOG Galaxy support. Below is what Epic Games' Steve Allison, the General Manager of the Epic Games Store, had to say about the partnership. We’re excited that Epic Games Store integration has come to GOG GALAXY 2.0," said Steve Allison, General Manager of the Epic Games Store. "It’s an important step towards breaking down walls between PC stores, as it enables a unified experience for players to manage their PC games library independent of where their games were purchased.

Sick to the back teeth of steam allowing only one to be signed in on one account while playing and the other person playing the same game -in the same house has to sign out go offline! It's archaic piss! Especially when the other person needs mods or content that needs online. Anything that kicks steam in the nuts is good

+1 It disgusts me that they call it Family Sharing which is complete and utter BS. Sharing if you aren't playing. But I guess when ur king of the digital online store world, you can do whatever shit you want. Hopefully the competition from GOG+Epic will inspire them to take their heads out of their arses!!!! But honestly, can't say last time I ever used GOG. So hope it works out.
