According to this post in the Matrixfans.Net Forums (they have a glitch that dates all the posts last January), "Enter the Matrix DVD Special Edition" is slated for release this fall and will include a DVD packed with added features and additional content." They also have a confirmation that "Shiny Entertainment is currently hard at work on its upcoming project, a sequel to the groundbreaking Enter the Matrix." (thanks BluesNews)

I say it was ground breaking after all...never before a shitty game like ETM sold around 2m & got good reviews even though it was totally a POS! Ps2 version was terrible, pc version still can't run properly on pc's with that 60hz fix. Only xbox & gc version was *ok* to play. I think ETM should've been done by REMEDY(makers of mp2) instead....then ETM would've been the game to play.

I want a great matrix game. I mean a great matrix game should beat or at least annilate Max Payne 1 & 2 from our minds. Because you can do a lot more stuff like fight Agent Smith a super boss. "Man a grappling gun" while sentinals are on your ass, jump from building to building while being chased or not, hack into a computer, jump in a car or whatever to escape capture, fight with not only with baseball bats but other more sweet melee weapons like axes, spears, pipe................. Hmm I guess the matrix is a espionage/spy film in reality but with the stakes set at optimal height.

They should just do what lucusarts has been doing with their games lately....buying the engines of already good games...galactic battlefields is AOE, Jedi Knight uses Q3...etc. They should have just bought the Max Payne engine and be done with it. Max payne and matrix stuff would rock....but noooo they have to make a whole new game and rush it. You cant RUSH game dev....you cant. They should have started on the games before they started shooting the final two.

ya building games off of good engines, is best because a lot of engines already can do most of what anybody would want to do, plus all you have to do is buy the engine (which does cost A LOT of money) and insert content.
