- Post a comment Stomped chats briefly with Westwood Studios producer Chris Longpre as he talks about their upcoming 3D RTS game Emperor: Battle For Dune.
Stomped: Once again, Westwood is using live action for its cut scenes in Emperor. What did the actual filming of the scenes entail?
Longpre: We brought out top Hollywood talent to film the live action cut scenes for Emperor, including Michael Dorn from Star Trek and Vincent Schiavelli from Ghost and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. They filmed in our in-house studio for two weeks and then filmed a few scenes in the sand dunes around Las Vegas. Doing the filming for any of our games is always a huge undertaking, but we have a great time doing it and we feel it really adds something to the games.
Stomped: What are the current release plans for a demo of Emperor and what will it contain?
Longpre: We currently have no plans to release a demo of Emperor. [more] |
