So, you might clearly be wondering exactly how this is possible. Well, the short answer is that it’s primarily based upon a singular glitch/bug found within the game. Known as ‘zipping’, a speedrunning tactic utilized in many gaming titles, the correct execution of this exploit can lead the character to traverse a huge distance almost instantaneously. How does it work in Elden Ring though? Well, the short answer is that while it looks relatively simple, actually getting it to work (and the methodology behind it) is more than a little tricky. In very basic terms though, it involved a glitch within the ‘blocking’ animation loop that, through the utilization of a frame perfect ‘walk’ input, can cause the player to move a distance that would, even when mounted, would likely take upwards of 5-10 minutes to cover (and even longer when boss fights are in the way). I wouldn't call this "beaten". It was exploiting bugs precisely and effectively doing nothing in the game. Here, I watched the video, so now I have beaten the game too!

Brilliant. Pay a small fortune for a game to just ‘finish’ it in minutes. There must be some logic to that, but it’s beyond me. Here’s how it fits in with my thinking of these individuals.
“I paid 4.5 million to go to space, but was only interested in how quick I went up then back down again”
Or here’s a better one. “I’m a fantastic lover because i can orgasm in 5 seconds - beat that!”
