According to Homelan, Rage Software has announced Mobile Forces, another Unreal engine based first person shooter. Mobile Forces is being described as a military style shooter with a wide range of vehicles for the player to try out. The PC based game is due out in the Spring of 2002. Here are some of its features from the press release:
  • Diverse choice of vehicles either to drive or jump into the back seats and blast away.
  • Superb vehicle physics, impressively modelled gears, brakes, suspension and more.
  • Twelve environments from docks to boot camps, from ice bases to storm drains.
  • Multiple weapons with a multiple firing modes.
  • Game play structure ensures depth of game play with good replay value.
  • Single player with multiplayer support based on Unreal Tournament engine.
  • Death Match, Capture the Flag game types complimented with new modes designed specifically for vehicle warfare.
