Electronic Arts sent out a press releases officially announcing Boom Blox, the first of several EA Los Angeles-developed titles stemming from the company's collaboration with renowned director and producer Steven Spielberg. This high-energy game features over three hundred levels, a variety of activities, a cast of over thirty wacky characters, and an easy-to-use in-game editor that allows players to express their creativity. BOOM BLOX will be available in May 2008 for the Wii.

Spielberg is known to be working on two other projects with EA Los Angeles, all of which have been surrounded with hype due to the director's infamous declaration that he'll consider video games to be an art form when "somebody confesses that they cried at level 17." Codenamed LMNO, the second title is an adventure game for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 that focuses on the dynamic between the player and a mysterious female character. Details on the third game have yet to be revealed.
