In the demo we controlled Daniel Jackson, but the three other members of our SG-1 crew were on-hand to dispense some damage. Though there was a squad present, I'd hardly describe this as a squad-based game. You can, if you'd like, point at enemies and order the men and woman of SG-1 to concentrate their fire on that target, but most of the action will be on you. We started armed with an SG-1 favorite, the modified P90 submachine gun, but learned pretty quickly that it took around 20 sparkling bullets to take down a single Jaffa. After dying a few times in the first firefight (especially on that damned broken Xbox version), we snatched up a Jaffa staff weapon and tried kicking some ass with that. Though it was considerably more powerful than the P90 and even featured a nifty little charge attack, the staff weapon didn't help us much.
