Tolstiy's Place has posted an interview on an upcoming massive multiplayer strategy game Dune Generations, which is now being in development at Cryonetworks.
Tolstiy: Your game will be using amazing universe created by Herbert - Dune. How are you going to insert your own plot to fit the original book or the connection will be very light and there will be lots of stuff created by you and not taken from the origin book?
Nathalie Christoux: We decided to use our unique storyline based on the Frank Herbert's universe. Players will see references to the characters (i.e. The Freemen, The Emperor, etc. but won't be able to play them as they are NPCs) and to the same general intriguing storyline. As players enter the game, they will discover new missions, as we wanted to add a new dimension to the game. [more]
