HomeLAN - How will the car driving model and physics be handled in the game? Martin Edmondson - This has been one of the main areas of our focus. In fact, the physics engine itself has been in development now for around 5 years and was first used in Stuntman. We use an upgraded version of this Stuntman physics engine for DRIV3R and it allows for some pretty realistic destruction! Panels bend and fall off. When lying on the ground, they become part of the universe with physical properties so they can be pushed along, or affected by gun fire. Wheels can be shot out, windows shot out and many other effects besides. In terms of just general driving, anyone who enjoyed the original Driver or Stuntman handling will be immediately at home with it.
