Eidos announced that both the PC and Xbox versions of Deus Ex: Invisible War (demo) have gone gold. The first person action-RPG sequel from developer Ion Storm will ship to stores on Dec. 3. Here's the deal: "As we near the Thanksgiving break, we want to keep with tradition and give thanks for the good things in life. What could possibly be better than announcing to the gaming community abroad that their anticipation is truly almost over. We are pleased to report that Deus Ex: Invisible War has OFFICIALLY GONE GOLD for both the Xbox and PC!!!!"

pity its complete and utter shite. and that it has been dumbed down completely. i cant understand how they have fucked this one up, especially after all the previews said this was going to be the best game ever. id like to know who was telling porkies...

omg have to agree this game just sucks royally!!!!! What a way to waste a game! Deus ex was a nice game but this!?! I don't even know what this shit is, but it ain't Deus Ex.. This game deserves and actually kinda insulting to the other games is that it belong in the $5.99 bin. What a royal hunk of SHEEIT. Talk about BLOWING A GAME!

There's nothing wrong with the game- PLAY. It's the poor optimisation of the game code or whatever that is at fault.(certainly the demo is bollocks!) Once they sort out that it *WILL* be a very good game. The demo has some nice elements to it,i can't believe that Warren Specter has released it in the state it's in.....

The game sucks. Quite trying to give it even a slight chance. I'd rather play Deus Ex than this crap. Specter should smoke more drugs cuz he's lost it to think this is a suitable 'part 2' for Deus Ex.. I saw it and played it like 20mins and said. WAPOS!

i had very high hopes for it but after downloading the demo i found out my cpu wasnt up to date. wtf its only like a year old now i cant play the full version so im gonna go and cry now

I liked Deus Ex one it was fun, but this is total crap. It runs like shit on my system. 8RDA3+ 2500+@ 3200+ (2222Mhz) 404 FSB (202Mhz) ANUS GeForce FX 5900nu @ 474/976 etc Without AA and a pinch of AF 4X Perormance 1024x768 max game detail (which are not really that detailed infact textures in DXiW SUCK) Im still gona get this game sicne i enjoyed the 1st one a lot. Hopefully and Athlon 64 with 9800XT can save me from getting 22FPS what i get sometimes with this demo in some scenes... Uff Daikatana

I retried the demo since i have a dual-boot PC i loaded the demo into Win98SE and you know what? It **RAN BETTER** in Win98SE than XP!! Bearing in mind i have a Barton XP2800+ 2x256mb PC2700DDR and the recommended GeForce4 TI4600 128mb (True DirectX 8.1 card) This is probably where a lot of the probs lie, it's probably more optimised for Win98 than XP..... Have any of u guys tried the LOMAC demo? It *too* runs like a bag of spanners! it's also -supposedly- optimised for DirectX 8.1 I think one of the influences is the bloody XBox since it's probably a port off of it!
