Deep Silver to co-publish War on Terror - media

Deep Silver has secured the co-publishing rights for War on Terror (previosly known as WOFOR), the upcoming real-time strategy game Hungarian developer Digital Reality (WarFront, Afrika Korps vs. Desert Rats). KOCH Media will distribute the title in the German, English and French-speaking markets in Europe under the Deep Silver label. The game is set for launch in Q1/2006.

War on Terror is a real-time strategy game which lets the player assume control of an international anti-terror unit, facing heavily armed terrorist groups in various troubled areas (America, Europe, and Asia). With 60 different units featuring 70+ skills, tactical management is the key to progress through the game, dealing with the controversial war on terrorism.

- Control a total of 60 different and specialized units: Infantry, vehicles, armoured combat vehicles, artillery, helicopters, air support and special units
- Cutting Edge 3D Technology: Providing the game with natural looking landscapes, water displays, beautiful dynamic lighting and shadow effects
- Rich Single Player Experience: 3 separate campaigns and a total of 26 missions; ranging from assault to defensive and counterattack
- Gain experience: Through accomplishing objectives, units can upgrade to a higher level
- Call reinforcements: control a drop zone and spend mission points to call new units
- Army Management: Before each mission, organize your army and choose the units you'll go to war with
- Deep Multiplayer Gaming Experience: 20 multiplayer maps are open to battle for up to 8 players with 6 different modes
- Map and Mission Editor: Design your own single and multiplayer maps
