The video starts off with Ryu Hayabusa atop a skyscraper, jumping down to the depths below, and then the action switches to a new character battling Kasumi, the main character of Dead or Alive. One new feature in the series can be seen in this video, as Kasumi rebounds off a wall and delivers a massive strike to the new character. Nice initiation, eh?

From there, several battles took place that mainly showcased the expansive environments that the game now has, as opposed to Dead or Alive Ultimate. Instead of narrow, confined areas, Dead or Alive 4 now uses arenas that are much more expansive and dynamic. When characters fall, many things can happen, from wild monkeys jumping out of the way, to crashing into oncoming traffic.
