Ascaron has released an English beta patches for Darkstar One to advance the US and UK retail editions of their 3D role-playing space-combat game to version 1.2. Word is "This patch not only fixes the latest issues reported from the international community, including the framerate problem that prevented the disc checking routine from working smoothly together with the game, but also enables the new modding features for the interested modding community."

The 9.93MB US patch can be found on 3D Gamers, FileFront, GH, The Patches Scrolls, and WP. The patch for the U.K. edition is on 3D Gamers, FileFront, Gh, The Patches Scrolls, and WP.
