This patch updates the multiplayer mode of the game 'Crysis' by Crytek to work without the GameSpy master servers. It is not a full installation of the game and will not work without it. You need to own a legal copy of the game in order to use this patch. Please understand that we will delete and ignore all requests about illegal game versions.

We respect the hard work of Crytek and EA and do not intend any copyright infringements with the respective owners. In more then six years 'Crysis' has become a part of our lifes and we wish to keep this great product functioning in the future. Unfortunately, EA and GameSpy decided to shutdown the servers that manage the online multiplayer features of the game, because of cost-inefficiency. Since July 16th 2014 the original master servers are offline and you cannot join or play on any online server.

This patch aims to redirect the online multiplayer requests to new master servers, allowing you to keep playing this game with the community. The only reason, why we published it is because the original servers are offline. Consequently, If Crytek, EA or GameSpy ever decides to relaunch the original servers, we will shutdown the ones related to this patch.

Although this patch does not contain any kind of malware and had been extensively tested, you install this software at your own risk. We assume no liability for potential damages due to bugs, misuse or whatsoever.
