The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) announced today that it has commenced development of a software anti-cheat solution for its online league, the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL). The CAL Anti-Cheat System will provide a multi-game client to further ensure fair competition in CAL tournaments and CPL online qualifiers. Members of the CPL competition committees will eventually be invited to interact with software engineers, and help establish a system that is simple, reliable and keep the needs of gamers in focus. When released later this year, the Anti-Cheat System will be free of charge to all CAL members and participants of CPL's online qualifiers.
