Prime Meridian has written a new preview of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, the single player add-on for the Counter-Strike Half-Life mod that is being developed by Valve.
"Here are some details of some of the new maps coming out for CZ. First off, there's a disease control center in Atlanta, where the CTs must scramble the VIP to the helicopter before he gets picked apart by any number of new weaponry the terrorists are carrying. There's a world cup game in Spain, which should make for some awesome gaming. Then there's that place you know you've always wanted to turn into a bloody battlefield: the Louvre. Hell yes--fine art and giant guns. I hope they play classical music too; gibbing to Johann Sebastian Bach is my idea of a good time. Then there's the Mission Impossible influenced Chunnel level and Hong Kong's Kowloon Bay. There's a Russian Typhoon-class sub, and a tasteful romp through Devil's Island. Finally, murder your way through NORAD, trying desperately to keep the terrorists away from "the button." Not only will each of these missions have a wonderful storyline for all of those single player players out there, the missions will also be available as multiplayer maps for CZ owners as well as the regular CS owners!"
